Yesterday I got through the lunch rush fine, then about forty minutes after I finally sat down with a plate of leftovers I went clammy. Hands trembling, a little sweaty, and this odd mix of starving and not hungry at the same time. I parked on an upturned crate in the back for ten minutes until it eased off.
Context: I'm five months in, 28 pounds down, and I've drifted into not eating until the rush is over. Nothing changed with my medication recently. I've had flat-appetite days before, but this felt more like a spike-and-crash than plain under-eating.
Not looking for anyone to diagnose me. I'm just curious whether a long stretch without food lands differently for other people now than it did before. My old routine was a pastry around 11 and a real meal at 3. These days it's nothing until 3, and then my body files a formal complaint.
Does that ring a bell? And if you keep something small within reach during busy stretches, does it actually head this off for you?
