I quit eating standing at the counter after bedtime

Tbh nothing dramatic to report. About 90 pounds down over roughly two years, and the thing that actually moved the needle wasn't a meal plan. It was the 8pm counter thing.

I used to finish whatever the kids left, pick at the pasta pot while cleaning up, then tell myself that wasn't a real meal and eat something proper at 9. Standing up made it feel invisible.

Now after bedtime I sit at the actual table with tea and one planned thing. Yogurt and frozen berries, or two squares of dark chocolate I already portioned out. Want more? Fine, but I have to stand up and put it on a plate like a person. That tiny speed bump handles most of it.

The snack drawer is still chaotic, just a boring kind of chaotic. String cheese, roasted chickpeas, clementines my kids refuse, a bag of frozen mango. No chips in the house, because 4pm on a Tuesday me cannot be trusted.

Curious whether the standing-up eating was the last habit to go for anyone else.
