Started tirz three weeks ago and by day 4 something strange happened — the constant food chatter in my head just went quiet. I used to think about lunch before breakfast was done. Yesterday I worked straight through the afternoon and realized at 6pm I'd forgotten to eat. Nobody warned me it would happen this fast. Does this fade with time, or is the mental quiet the part that sticks?
Is it normal for food noise to vanish this fast on tirz?
Have you had your B12 checked? I was having similar fatigue and it turned out to be a deficiency, not the medication.
Same here! I had the exact same experience at 2.5mg. The nausea peaked around week 10 and then gradually improved. Hang in there, it gets better.
For the fatigue — my doctor checked my B12 and it was low. Started supplementing and the fatigue improved dramatically. Worth getting your levels checked.
Totally agree. I was on metformin for years and it did nothing for weight. GLP-1 was a game changer. It's a tool, not cheating.
My A1C went from 8.5 to 6.8 in 6 months on tirz. My endo was shocked. The blood sugar control is honestly more important than the weight loss for me.
I've been at 2.5mg for 14 months now. The jump from 2.5 to 2.5 was noticeable — more appetite suppression but also more nausea for the first two weeks. It settled down after that. I'd say go for it if you're stalling at the current dose.
