Posting this because I've watched a few threads here ask whether feeling fine is the same as being fine, and I want to add my own data point.
Nine months on this medication, 61 pounds down, no drama anywhere. I got cocky about it. My idea of eating "enough" had quietly shrunk to a protein shake and whatever I could finish at dinner, and honestly it felt great โ light, capable, humming along.
Then a hot weekend hit. I did a long walk, skipped lunch because nothing sounded good, drank what I'd call a normal amount of water. By evening I couldn't stand up without the room tilting. My partner drove me in, they hung fluids, kept me overnight, and someone gently pointed out how little I'd actually been taking in for weeks. Nothing exotic. Just a body running on fumes I never registered.
Not telling anyone what to do here. I'm saying my hunger cues stopped being a reliable narrator and I didn't notice for a long stretch. Has anyone else had a phase where "fine" was covering for something?
