Past my original goal, and the aim feels blurry now

I read here for months before I ever posted, and this place got me through that strange early stretch when my appetite went quiet and I didn't quite trust it.

Nineteen months on Mounjaro now. Down 58 lbs, waist tape from 44 to 36, and the labs I'd been avoiding for years came back boring in the best possible way.

I passed the number I'd written on a sticky note sometime last fall. I assumed it would feel like something.

Mostly I stood in the kitchen wondering what the next sticky note should say.

That's the piece nobody really prepares you for. Losing has a script. Holding doesn't, or at least mine doesn't yet. There was a thread a while back about maintenance being the unglamorous chapter, and honestly it stuck with me longer than any of the milestone posts did.

So for those of you past your original goal: how did you know when enough was actually enough? A number, a lab value, something a doctor said, a photo someone else took of you? Or did you just get tired of asking yourself the question?
