Saw a hunger-study clip and it hit close

I saw a short news clip this morning about food cues and tired brains. My layperson take: it’s less about a magic fix and more about how much harder the day feels when I’m worn down.

I spend my workday around bread and pastry smells, and my own three-week log backs that up — on nights I sleep under six hours, I take at least two extra “taste” spoons before lunch and my afternoon snack gets less planned. Not a huge revelation, but it made me less interested in blaming myself and more interested in protecting sleep.

For the longtime goal folks here, did noticing a trigger like that actually change anything for you, or just give you another thing to track?
