For what it's worth, I’m in week seven of the same 2-pound bounce, and honestly I’m sick of that number. I’m down 34 lbs total, tracking protein around 100g, walking 8k steps most days, and drinking water like it’s my job. The scale is just… parked.
But this morning I grabbed my engagement ring — the updated one we had reset for our anniversary — and it slid on without the usual knuckle fight. I’ve been wearing it on a necklace since last fall because it felt too tight and I was scared to force it. Today it went on, stayed comfortable through dishes and dog walks, and I actually teared up a little. It’s such a small thing, but it’s proof my body is changing even when the scale is being stubborn.
I’m trying to let that count as a win instead of obsessing over the plateau. Anyone else stuck in a long stall and getting non-scale victories that keep you going?
