Second time through and I'm less dramatic about it

First stretch I got down about 40 lbs and felt unstoppable. Then a move, a rough winter, and a job that ate my evenings happened, and a good chunk of it came back. I dodged the scale for months because I didn't want the number confirmed in writing.

What surprised me is that my old playbook still works. I don't need a brand new plan or a flawless week. The things that actually move the needle for me are boring and few: a walk after dinner, water before I eat, actual breakfast. Everything else is noise.

Some days it's the shot and a nap and calling that a win. That counts too.

If you're in that awkward spot between "I was doing so well" and "here I am again," you already know more than you did the first time. That's not nothing.

What's the one habit from your first stretch that still pulls its weight for you?
