I noticed it while playing on the floor with my nephew. Usually I’d scope out a chair first or brace on the coffee table to get up. This time I sat down, folded into tailor style, and got up without a whole production. No fanfare, just happened. Down about 23 lb since February, waist tape down 3 inches, maybe that’s part of it. I’m careful not to over-interpret: in the trials, weight loss and GLP-1s can both shift how joints feel, and lean mass can drop if you’re not lifting, so I keep two strength sessions and a protein anchor most days. Still, the quiet absence of planning felt bigger than the scale. Anyone else have a normal movement sneak up and surprise you before the mirror caught up?

Love this. I’ve been tracking a similar thing: cross-legged floor sit-to-stand, no hands, once a month. Mine lagged the scale by maybe 4–6 weeks; waist tape moved first, then getting up got easier. In the trials I’ve read, mobility tends to track with fat loss and reduced load, but
