I’m 11 months into this and down 54 lbs, but the scale has been camped in the same 2-lb window since early July. Not gaining, not dropping. Just there. The frustrating part is that I feel good in my body while also wanting to throw my tracker across the room.
Yesterday I dug out a pair of knee-high boots I bought two winters ago and never wore because the calf was too tight. They zipped all the way up. I stood in front of the mirror like an idiot, just bending my knees to check. It was a genuine win.
So why does it feel like a consolation prize? I know non-scale victories matter, but I’m tired of the scale being the one thing that won’t cooperate. For those who’ve been through a long flat stretch, how do you keep your head straight when the measurements move and the weight doesn’t?
