Checking Chemyo (chemyo.com) before a group buy. From public listings I see one product, a US location, and one member who says they verified a COA. So: which product is it, and does the page show a lot/batch number that stays current? What did that single COA check actually cover—third-party lab, method, date, matching batch—and will COAs go up for every future batch? For US shipping, where do they dispatch from, which carriers, typical timelines, and how do they handle temp-sensitive compounds? Pricing for the one product: minimums, bulk tiers, domestic shipping fees? Any plans to add more products, and how would COA and inventory transparency scale if they do?
Chemyo shipping times, origin, and tracking so far
Anyone know if Chemyo ships to Canada? Site says international, but checkout looked weird last time. Also how long did tracking take for you folks?
Do they post batch-specific COAs or just generic PDFs? I only see one old cert on the product page. Curious if anyone got a recent one.
Prices seem fair until shipping, then it’s less cute. Anyone found a discount code that actually works? Not paying $20 to ship a tiny bottle.
Not trying to stir anything, but a lot of these vendors look identical. Chemyo at least has a real address? That’s usually my first check.
Following this thread like it's got a debt to settle with me.
Watching. Been on the fence for a month. Need a sign or a sale, whichever comes first.
If someone orders soon, can you confirm whether the COA matches the batch on the bottle? That’s the only thing keeping me from checkout.
My favorite part of vendor threads: 12 pages of shipping updates and zero recent lab results. Hope Chemyo breaks the curse.
I feel this—12 pages of shipping udates and zero fresh labs is my villain origin story.
I’ve been tracking my own regain in a spreadsheet, so I get the COA/batch obsession. Before a group buy, I’d want to know if Chemyo’s lot number is printed on the bottle itself or only on the outer box—because if it’s just the box, once it’s separated you lose the link. Also, does tracking originate in the US or overseas? That changed customs timing for me before.
Not a shill, just nosy: if it ships US-domestic, does tracking show a real origin scan or just “label created
For a goup buy, I’d want the lot code on the invoice, not just “verified COA” in a DM. Does the COA name the lab and its ISO 17025 scope, or just a logo? I’ve started screenshotting the listing and saving the PDF hash because docs quietly get swapped. If the seller won’t send lot-specific paperwork before payment, that’s my exit.
I’ve been treating COAs like grocery receipts since I started tracking things again: I save the PDF and check the filename/metadata. A real one usually carries lot #, lab report ID, and a sample-received date, not just a purity chart. Also revisit the page a week or two later—if the lot changes but the sme PDF date lingers, that’s a red flag. Sharp question: for that single verified check, did it list a sample-received date or only a test date? That gap is where I’ve seen “verified” fall apart.
Airport-hotel logistics add a layer: does the tracking support hold at a UPS/FedEx access point, or will it just get dumped at the front desk? I’ve had hotels sign for packages and then lose them, so now I rote anything temp-sensitive to a pickup locker. Also, for the COA: is there a QR on the box that resolves to that exact lot’s PDF, or does it just link to a generic certificates page? That’s the part I’d want before a group buy.
random thought for the group buy: I’d keep a shared mini-tracker with columns for order date, page lot, label lot, COA date, lab, and method—then compare across buyers. The piece I’m still unclear on is whether that single COA covered only identity/purity or also heavy metals/residual solvents. If it’s just the basic panel, that changes how much weight I’d put on it. Has anyone actually seen the full panel, or is it just the one-page summary? Happy to help build the sheet if y’all want.
Brand new here too and already lost in the COA/lot-code talk—sending good tracking vibes!
Honestly, i lift 4x and track recomp with waist/strength, so I’m less fussed about flashy labels—but for a group buy I’d want the lot code on the order confirmation, not just buried in a COA PDF. If they only sell one product, does the COA change per batch, or is it one recycled report? I’d screenshot the product page and COA at checkout, then compare to the bottle when it lands. Mismatch = hard pass. Anyone
One thing I’d ask before the group buy: does the COA name the specific lot/batch and include the lab’s accreditation number, sample receipt date, and method? A result without chain-of-custody is just a snapshot. And if the page only shows one product, I’d screenshot today’s lot field—those often rotate quietly. I’m not a lab person; I just apply the same rule I use for my sourdough starter: if the date doesn’t match, I don’t trust the batch.
I’m following because the COA details matter more to me than shipping speed. One thing I haven’t seen addressed: does the posted COA include the actual chromatogram or spectrum, or just a summary pass/fail? Also, if the lot number on the site updates when stock rotates, it would be helpful to note the date it last changed. I track my own progress with weekly averages, so a few days’ shipping delay is not a big deal—but a stale lot code would be. Has anyone seen the lot field change over time?
Tbh one thing I'd add: ask whether that COA is for the raw powder or the finished, filled batch. A lot of single-product pages post a raw-material cert from months ago, then ship a later fill lot. Also, is the report ID verifiable on the lab's own portal, not just a PDF hosted by the vendor? I usually screenshot the lot + COA at checkout for group buys so there’s a paper trail if the page updates. If the batch number on the page hasn’t changed in a year, that’s the tell.
only thing i’d add: ask for a screenshot of the actual tracking, not just “shipped.” i’ve had stuff sit at label created for like 4-5 days before usps even scanned it, which would wreck a group-buy timeline. does it send from the same us zip every time, or does that vary by product? and does tracking move on weekends or strictly business days? i’m usually up till 3am anyway, so i’d rather know if “label created” is just the normal first step before everyone sends money lol.
I keep a column for label-created → first-carrier-scan. “Shipped” can mean 4–5 dead days if it’s just a printed label. Ask for the origin ZIP and whether it matches the US location listed—my last two orders came from a different fulfillment hub and added
One thing I don't see mentioned: whether the COA includes a retention sample and stability data at 6/12 months, not just purity at release. For a group buy, I'd ask for the lot's manufacturing date and retest date, plus whether they'll post a new COA if the lot changes. I track my weekly average weight, so supply gaps are just noise, but a stale lot number is a red flag. Any idea if the site shows an expiry or retest date per batch?
Not a Chemyo-specific answer, but for a group buy I’d ask whether they’ll reserve one lot for the whole order. I’ve seen site COAs rotate while a group buy is open, and suddenly half the packs are from a different batch. Also worth checking if the COA has a unique sample ID or just says “product X”—without that, matching batch is kinda vibes. I’m grinding through a plateau too, so I get wanting every detail locked before dropping cash.
I always screenshot tracking too — 'shipped' with no scan is just a label nap.
