Just had a smooth order from Allen Biotechnology Co

Saw Allen Biotechnology Co (midwestpeptide.com) come up a couple times and I'm curious, but I haven't ordered yet. Before I'd consider a lab order, does anyone have details they've actually checked? Mostly wondering if their catalog lists purity specs, form, and lot-specific identifiers per peptide, or just general blurbs. Are COAs available per lot before you buy, and do they show the third-party lab name, method, date, and a batch number that actually matches? What shipping info do they publish, like carrier, packaging, temp control, transit windows, and how do they handle delays or customs? Are listed prices all-in, and do bulk or institutional quotes differ from the public catalog? Also, can their business location, registration, and contact details be verified independently from what I can find online? Curious what people know.

Anyone ordered recently? What’s shipping to the EU looking like—timelines, customs, and does tracking actually update? Also do they send COAs before payment or only after? Trying to compare before I ask for a price list.

Every new vendor thread starts the same: great prices, fast replies, then radio silence after a few bulk orders. Not saying it’s bad, but I’d want independent lab results tied to specific batch numbers before getting excited.

Got a quote last week and the price was decent, but the MOQ felt high. Did anyone negotiate smaller amounts? Also curious if the listed COAs are from the exact batch they ship or just generic sample reports.

What carrier do they use for US orders? I see “express” mentioned but no details. Are there extra fees for cold packs or special packaging? And what’s the reship policy if customs grabs it?

I’m just here for the inevitable “my pack landed” vs. “been 6 weeks, no reply” arc. Popcorn ready.

Watching this. Please update if anyone gets a tracking number that actually moves. Too many vendors confuse “label created” with “shipped.”

Can someone post a redacted COA? I want to see the lab name, date, batch number, and methods. If it’s just a PDF with a logo, that doesn’t tell me much.

Prices seem okay, but the website looks copy-pasted from three other vendors. Has anyone verified the company registration or spoken to a rep on video? Just doing basic due diligence.

Following—curious if the COA actually shows batch/lot + test method, not just a pretty PDF.

This smells like that vendor thread from last spring—pretty PDFs, no lot numbers.

I keep a simple spreadsheet with weekly averages, energy, and sleep, mostly so I can separate real trends from water shifts. For a lab order, the thing I have not seen addressed is shipping: does it arrive with cold packs and any temperature indicator, or is it ambient? That matters to me more than clean paperwork, because a certificate means little if the vial sat in a hot mailbox for two days. Has anyone actually received one and checked the packaging?

Purity % is the least interesting number unless it’s paired with net peptide content and counterion. I want the vial label lot to resolve to a public COA, not an emailed PDF, so I can verify the exact batch. Does their site have a searchable lot lookup, or is it request-only? If request-only, I’d treat the catalog as marketing. I already run a simple spreadsheet—weekly avg weight, sleep, energy—so I can separate signal from mood. A supplier missing traceability is just a variable I don’t need.
