Lotilabs checkout payment options have me confused

Saw Lotilabs (lotilabs.co.uk) mentioned in a few public listings, so I’m curious. Which product categories are actually in stock? Are catalog listings batch-specific or just generic? Are COAs posted for every current lot before you buy, with purity/identity methods, and can lot numbers be tied to the shipped material? Is testing done by an independent lab, and do they share full chromatograms/spectra or only summary PDFs? What are shipping terms: origin, domestic/international coverage, dispatch times, packaging, tracking, any cold-chain requirements? Do published prices include VAT and shipping, are there MOQs, and what’s the UK location, return, or reship policy? Just trying to compare before bothering.

Does Lotilabs ship domestically or international? What’s typical turnaround to the East Coast, and do they provide tracking same day? Also curious if cold items ship with ice packs or just ambient. Watching this thread before I pull the trigger.

Has anyone actually seen a current COA from Lotilabs, not just a screenshot? I’d like batch number, lab name, and date. If they’re legit, that should be easy to share. Skeptical but open to being proven wrong.

Prices look decent, but ‘decent’ usually means somebody’s cutting corners. Are there hidden shipping fees or minimums? I’d rather pay a bit more and get straight answers than chase a bargain and get radio silence.

Lotilabs sounds like a skincare brand that got lost on the way to a chemistry forum. Anyway, watching.

Just here for the replies. If shipping and COAs check out, I might test the waters. Subscribed.

Every new vendor thread starts with ‘great communication’ and ends with ‘where’s my pack?’ Hope Lotilabs breaks the pattern, but I’ll wait for a few more reviews before trusting the hype.

Do they use discreet packaging? And can they email COAs before purchase, or only after? Those two things tell me more than any promo post. Thanks.

What payment methods does Lotilabs accept? Crypto only, or card? Also, is there a reship policy if customs snags it? Asking for a friend who’s tired of vendor bingo.

Which third-party lab, and is it ISO 17025 accredited for identity/purity? “Independent” means nothing without that. I track lot #, COA date, lab name, and method in a spreadsheet; if the vial label doesn’t match the COA lot, I’m out. Are their current listings lot-specific, or just generic catalog copy? A current inventory table with lot # and test date would answer more than any “great communication” post.

not a payment method answer, but the checkout “total” is what gets me. Does the cart show shipping/handling, signature, and any insurance fee upfront before you pay, or does it jump after you hit confirm? My dorm-budget brain can’t handle another £12 “processing” surprise when I’m already rationing tuna packets. Also, is there a minimum order, and can you mix in-stock and preorder without getting split shipping? Basically: is the final total honest, or a jump scare?

Checkout totls are the real cliffhanger here lol

love the batch-log energy in here. The thing I’d want before checkout: does the cart show the exact lot number, or only after payment? I keep a little log like my weekly weigh-ins—date, lot, sleep, appetite—because generic labels make it impossible to spot patterns. If the confirmation just says the category, that tracking falls apart. Has anyone gotten a receipt that actually ties the lot to what shipped?

Payment options confuse me too—more the timing than the total. If a lot sells out while a bank transfer/e-check clears, do they substitute or cancel? And does the confirmation email list the exact lot number, or just SKU? I track order date, lot, COA revision, and payment descriptor in a sheet; a substitute would wreck my trendline. Also: do they charge VAT/sales tax at checkout or after carrier clearance? That’s my real cliffhanger.

One concrete thing I’d check: does the order confirmation email list the shipped lot number and a COA link, or just a generic product name? I keep a running spreadsheet for lot, date received, and COA version. If the invoice only has a SKU, tying anything to the actual material becomes manual archaeology. Also, is the COA attached at checkout or emailed after dispatch? That matters more to me than whether the checkout looks like a 2009 plugin.

Following, because my sticking point would be the payment descriptor and whether guest checkout is even possible. I track energy/sleep in a notes app, so surprise merchant names on statements stress me out. Gentle question: does checkout show the processor or statement descriptor before you hit pay, or only after the

I track purity-adjusted cost (price per unit ÷ stated purity %) in my sheet, and my last three orders swung 18% on that one column. So my Lotilabs question is: is there a public lot archive, or do older COAs vanish once stock rolls? If checkout only shows a generic catalog page, I can’t pre-log method, test date, or batch code before paying. Does the COA PDF get timestamped and tied to a lot before checkout, or only after fulfillment? That’s the number I actually care about.

Not payment timing, but with new shops I check if checkout takes a one-time virtual card with a spend cap. If it forces a saved card or only shows a processor I don’t recognize

Following — my sticking point is whether the COA is tid to a lot that’s actually shipping. I’ve seen shops post a “current” COA, then send a different lot once the first sells out. I now screenshot the COA page/date before ordering, then compare lot numbers on arrival. If they can’t confirm the exact lot before payment, I wait. Does Lotilabs expose the active lot anywhere on the product page or checkout, or only after the order confirms?

Aside from tying COA to lot, do they show a retest/expiry date and storage

Payment aside, my spreadsheet wants one data point: does checkout lock a specific lot at payment, or just reserve from pooled stock? I’ve had vendors where the order-confirmation lot and shipped vial lot didn’t match, so I now log payment timestamp against COA date and flag anything where the COA predates payment by >90 days. Also, does the final screen show VAT/shipping/processor fees in GBP before you authorize? My abandon-cart trendline is basically a fee-surprise index.

Following this. One thing I always log that hasn’t come up: does the product page show a real ship-by window or just “processing”? I keep columns for order date → tracking active → delivered, plus whether partial/split shipments happen when something’s OOS. Also curious if stock status is granular (low stock / preorder / sold out) or just disappears. If that info isn’t visible before checkout, it’s a hard pass for my spreadsheet. Anyone seen actual timestamps?

COA-to-lot traceability is my litmus test; without it,

If the lot isn't locked at checkout, my spreadsheet just gets another sad empty cell 😅
