Looking at Meto (meto.co) while comparing suppliers for lab stuff, and I’m not convinced yet. Before anyone orders, I’d want to know: what product categories are actually in their catalog, and does each item post batch-specific specs, purity data, and testing methods? Where are the COAs—can you search by lot/batch, are they dated, and do they link straight to the exact product listing? Shipping: what’s published on origin location, carriers, estimated transit times, packaging, tracking, and how they handle temp-sensitive items? Prices: are they per unit, do they include or exclude shipping, taxes, and duties, and do they change by quantity or destination? Do they disclose their business location and any lab/fulfillment addresses? And can buyers request current COAs before checkout? Just trying to figure out if this one’s worth a closer look.
Meto COA paperwork, batch testing, and what they post
What’s the typical shipping window to the US, and do they provide tracking upfront?
Do they post COAs for the current batch, or only older ones? Batch numbers matter.
Price looks mid-range. Is there a minimum order or any bulk discount? Curious before I commit.
Seen a lot of Meto posts lately. Could be real interest, could be hype. Taking notes.
COA without a batch number is just a fancy PDF with good lighting. Change my mind.
Watching this thread. Please keep updates coming, especially shipping timelines.
Anyone in EU gotten tracking within 48h recently, or is that optimistic? Asking for a cart.
Following. Curious if the good reviews stay consistent after the initial sale rush.
One thing I’d check: is the COA the lab’s original PDF or a vendor reformat? I want the lab name, method, instrument, sample receipt date, and a verifiable report ID I can look up myself. Also does the lot on the vial match the COA exactly, including fill size? I’ve seen mismatches there. Not glamorous, but I keep a note in my phone with order date/lot—between school runs and snack-drawer negotiations it’s the only way I remember. If they can’t gie you that, I’d pass.
I’m in maintenance now, so I care less about the initial drop and more about consistency—tracking protein, fiber, sleep, and lifting 3x/week. What I’d want from Meto before ordering: does the COA show a stability/retest date and storage conditions, or only purity? And does the batch/lot printed on the actual vial match the PDF every time? I’ve seen other vendors’ paperwork look clean but not tie back to the physical lot. If they can’t answer that clearly in writing, that’s a pass for me.
If the COA’s a vendor reformat, I’m out. Original lab PDF or I keep scrolling.
Yep, vendor reformat = automatic side-eye from me. Original lab PDF or I’m out too 👀
Tbh one thing I’d add: see if the COA lot actually matches the lot printed on the vial/kit you receive, and whether they keep a dated archive of past batches. I’ve run into “current batch only” pages before—handy that week, useless later when you’re trying to log what you actually got. I keep a boring spreadsheet: date received, lot
I work nights, so I’m picky about details. Does each COA list the exact analytical method per batch—HPLC, LC-MS, whatever—and a retest/expiry date? Not just a test date. Also: is sterility/endotoxin covered, or only purity? If methods aren’t batch-specific, I’m out. Sharp question: can you pull a COA for a batch that’s actually in stock, or do they only show old ones? That tells me a lot.
One thing I’d want before trusting any of these sites: do they archive older COAs by lot, with the analysis date and a retest/expiry date? I’ve started a little batch log next to my walking and recipe notes—same way I track how a new ingredient affects my energy—so if a lot gets pulled or quietly updated, I can see whether the paperwork changed after the fact. If the COA only ever shows the current lot, that tells me something.
I’d also poke at what the COA doesn’t show. Purity by HPLC is one thing, but for anything injectable I want to see endotoxin/sterility and maybe heavy metals, plus whether failed or out-of-spec batches are ever posted. We chased this in an old thread—one vendor’s COAs were clean until someone asked for the retest after a failed sterility screen and got crickets. Not saying that’s Meto, but it’s a pattern. Do they publish stability/retest intervals too, or just the initial release date?
