I spent Tuesday morning juggling two refill totals for the same prescription, which is not how I wanted to start errands. Our little pharmacy texted me one amount, then the insurance app showed another after what the rep called a “deductible adjustment.” I sat in the truck with a pen and wrote both on the back of an envelope, plus the $18 difference in gas I’d spend driving to the bigger store across town.
By lunch I’d picked the local counter, mostly because I can ask questions face to face and they’ll call when it’s ready. It’s not a huge win, but seeing the real monthly number written down made the decision feel less foggy.
Anyone else keep a paper tally for this stuff, or am I the last one?
