Anyone else looked at Primalpharm (primalpharm.com)? I'm going through their catalog, posted prices, and shipping page right now and trying to figure out a few things before I'd ever consider them. Does the catalog actually show batch-specific purity, or is it just generic compound names? And can you pull third-party COAs before ordering, or do you have to ask? Are the COAs tied to a specific lot with the lab name, methods, and dates — or just a summary result page? Shipping side: what do they even publish? Origin location, carriers, estimated transit, tracking, any packaging or discretion info? Also, do the listed prices include shipping, tax, or handling? Is there a minimum order or a surcharge for certain payment methods? And probably the big one — do they disclose the vendor's location or at least where it ships from? I want to know that before I think about transit, customs, or anything legal-import related.
Primalpharm batch testing consistency and COA documents
Anyone know typical shipping times to the US? Domestic or international, and is tracking included? Also, how discreet is the packaging?
Do they post third-party COAs per batch, or just a generic purity sheet? I’d want to see current lab results before considering an order.
Prices seem mid-range from what I’ve seen. Has anyone compared their bulk rates to other vendors lately? Curious if the discount is real.
Watching this. Too many vendors pop up with big promises, then go quiet after a few months. Hope these guys stick around.
Primalpharm? Sounds like a gym for cavemen who lift rocks. Anyway, what’s their minimum order these days?
Light skeptic here: the site looks clean, but clean sites are cheap. Any independent reviews outside this thread? Not trying to be negative, just cautious.
Does shipping require signature? And what happens if a pack gets seized—reship policy or just tough luck? Their FAQ is vague.
Following. If someone gets a recent COA and tracking update, please post. Curious about turnaround and whether they use vacuum seals.
I care less about a pretty PDF and more whether the lot # on the COA actually matches the vial label and product page. Does Primalpharm show a unique batch number, a recent test date, and the actual lab name, or just “third-party tested”? And is the chromatogram included or only a summary sheet? If anyone gets one, can you check those three things? I keep a running note on my phone for reorders because between school runs and snack-drawer restocks I forget which batch was which.
Cafe owner here—if I can't trust a batch label, no way I'm trusting myself around pastry trays. Solid question.
If the lot # doesn’t match the COA, it’s just a PDF cosplaying as evidence.
I keep a spreadsheet for this stuff: date checked, listed price, shipping window, whether a lot # shows before checkout, and how old the COA is. The age gap is what gets me — plenty of sites post a clean PDF from months ago but ship whatever’s current. Sharp question for anyone who’s actually ordered: does Primalpharm show batch/lot ID and COA date pre-checkout, or only in the confirmation email? If it’s only after payment, that tells me more than the purity number.
The thing I never see answered: does the COA list the actual lab name and test method—HPLC vs LC-MS—plus a chromatogram, or just a purity number? And do they keep old or failed COAs visible? If not, a bad batch could quietly disappear. Curious if anyone’s emailed them and gotten a straight answer on who actually runs the testing.
I’d also want to know how they handle batch transitions: when one batch sells out and the next drops, do they publish the new COA before orders go live, or after? I keep a note of how often a source’s batch numbers change and whether purity holds steady. And do they ship with any temp control/log? A clean document doesn’t help if the vial cooked in a hot truck. Curious
One thing I never see: do the COAs include a chromatogram image and the sample receipt/test date, not just a summary purity number? I’ve been burned before by a “99%” that was area normalization with no baseline or column info. Also, do they post out-of-spec or retest results anywhere, or only clean passes? If it’s only clean passes, that’s a red flag for me.
Night shift here. I don’t care about pretty PDFs. What I want: a COA tied to the lot number printed on the actual vial, plus a retest/expiry date. If the analysis date is months before the ship date, that’s a no from me. Also, will they email the matching COA in the shipping confirmation? Chasing it after it lands is a pain when I’m asleep all day. If they can’t do that, I’m out.
the thing I’m not seeing asked: do the COAs cover sterility/endotoxin and residual solvents, or jut a purity percentage? I’ve had paperwork look great but omit those panels, and that’s a hard no for me. I’m mid-plateau and trying not to change more than one variable, so I’m extra annoying about documentation. If they only test purity, that tells me nothing about handling or fill quality. Does anyone know if those panels are listed, or is it purity-only?
Night shift here. Purity % means jack if they’re not testing the finished vial. I’d ask: is the COA on raw powder or the filled product? Do they post actual content per vial vs label claim, not just HPLC purity? Heavy metals too. If the lab name is redacted, I’m out. Also check if the lot number is printed on the vial or just the box—mismatch there tells you everything.
Do they report net peptide content or just HPLC purity? Purity can be 99% while net content is lower once you subtract counterions/water. I track that in my sheet next to heavy metals and fill mass; my trendline says generic COAs always omit one of those three. If Primalpharm’s COA doesn’t show net content, that’s my main gate. Otherwise I’m just comparing decorative percentages.
Right? If it’s not lot-linked, it’s just a pretty PDF with good lighting.
Airport-hotel gremlin here. The thing I’d want before ordering: does the COA include stability/shipping temp data, and will they toss a temp logger in the box? I’ve had proten powder bake in a Vegas mailroom, so my paranoia is real. Also, do they list manufacture/retest dates on the COA, or just the purity number? If it’s room-temp mail in July, that’s my dealbreaker. Following for the logistics tea.
I track all my vials in a spreadsheet—lot, date received, date opened, and any
small-town pharmacy here too. One thing I’ve started asking after a weird shipping delay: does the COA show the lab’s sample receipt date and test date, not just the pretty report date? And does the kit’s actual fill date line up with when the testing happened, or are they showing me an older run? I keep a notes app of appetite, sleep, water, and any redness—just patterns—and it’s saved me from blaming every off week on the vial. If they can’t answer the dates in writing, I pass.
Not a chemist, just someone who’s been burned by a pretty PDF. I’d want the COA to name the actual testing lab and method—HPLC vs LC-MS—and include a verification link or portal, not just a generic logo page. Also whether the sample was pulled from the finished vial lot or just raw powder. If I can’t independently confirm the lab exists and stands behind that specific document, I treat it as marketing. Has anyone asked them for the lab’s direct COA lookup instead of a PDF attachment?
Key question: does the COA tie to the exact lot on the vial, or is it just a catalog-level PDF? I want the testing lab named, method (RP-HPLC/LC-MS), chromatogram, and panels for identity, purity, residual solvents, endotoxin. Purity percentage alone is nearly useless. Also ask whether they test every lot or periodically—consistency claims mean nothing without lot frequency. If you can’t pull a lot-matched COA before ordering, that’s your answer.
The COA detail I’d drill into is method: HPLC area % vs actual peptide content by mass balance. In the trials I’ve read, a 99% peak can still be the wrong sequence or a salt/TFA artifact. Does Primalpharm show a chromatogram plus an MS identity trace, or just a table? And is the testing lab ISO 17025 accredited? A pretty PDF with no method is the easiest thing to fake. I’d ask before ordering.
I got burned once by a pretty PDF, so now it’s lot-matched COA or I pass.
Cafe owner here, so batch consistency is my love language. The thing I’d ask them: if I order multiple vials, do they all come from one tested lot, or can they mix lots? And does the COA show a test date and retest date
