Prospecbio batch testing and COAs are my main thing

Been poking around Prospecbio (prospecbio.com) since I'm weighing it against a couple other shops I've used. Public listings show a product catalog, published prices, shipping info, and COAs, so that's a start, but a few things I still can't pin down. Does the catalog actually list full specs per item - sequence, purity, format, storage - and can you get custom or bulk sizes? Are the COAs lot-specific and downloadable before you buy, with methods like HPLC, MS, endotoxin, and dates on them? Shipping: where does it originate, which carrier, how's it packaged, cold-chain or dry ice options, and how do they handle customs or delays? Prices - are they current, what currency, do they include taxes, shipping, or minimum-order fees? And where's the company legally based, and which entity handles fulfillment, billing, and post-sale documentation? Anyone ordered?

Anyone know if Prospecbio ships international? Their site says flat rate but checkout didn’t show options. Also, do COAs come batch-specific or generic? Just trying to compare before ordering. Watching this thread.

I’ve seen a few vendors slap ‘third-party tested’ on everything. Does Prospecbio’s COA actually list the lab and batch number? If not, that’s a pass for me until someone posts one.

What’s typical turnaround on quotes? I emailed Monday, no reply yet. Not expecting instant, but a ballpark price list or minimum order would help. Anyone got recent info?

Prospecbio sounds like a band that only plays in lab coats. Anyway, following for shipping updates.

Watching this. Interested in domestic shipping times and whether COAs match the lot you receive.

Does anyone know if they provide COAs before purchase, or only after? I like to check lab credentials first. Also curious about payment methods.

New account, minimal posts, sudden hype. Not saying it’s bad, but I’ll wait for independent COAs and a few tracked shipping confirmations before biting.

If they ship from EU, what’s customs experience like to US? And are prices incl. or excl. shipping? Thanks to anyone who’s ordered recently.

Does each product page list format/storage specs—lyophilized vs liquid, exact fill, temp range? I keep my own bin separate from the kids’ snack drawer, so I need to know if it’s fridge/freezer/room temp before I clear a shelf. And a COA is only useful to me if it shows test date + method, not just a purity %. I got burned by a pretty COA with no method/date once. If anyone has a screenshot of a current full spec page, that’d help. Otherwise I’m waiting for independent testing too.

I’m with you on COAs being the main thing. What I haven’t seen discussed: are the COAs batch-specific, and do the lot numbers match what’s printed on the vial? A generic purity sheet is useless if it can’t be tied to the exact batch. Also worth asking whether the lab reports show method (HPLC/MS) and whether they test for endotoxins or just purity. I keep a simple spreadsheet of lot/COA date/results just for my own consistency, and that’s the only way I’d trust any shop long-term.

one thing i never see ppl mention: check if the coa has the actual lab name, method (hplc/lc-ms), and a sample date after the batch was made. a pdf is easy to fake; a lab-verifiable QR/code or public report number is way better. also does the batch/lot on the coa match the vial label when it lands? i keep a dumb spreadsheet for sleep, cravings, and soda intake when i switch batches, so if paperwork is fuzzy i'm out. has anyone actually verified one of their coas directly with the lab?

one thing i do: log lot # + COA date in a google sheet next to my weekly weigh-ins. not med stuff, just seeing if a new batch shifts my trend. does prospec’s COA break

One thing I’ve started doing: if a COA has a lab report ID, I go to the lab’s own portal or email them to confirm it’s real, not just a PDF with a logo. I also look for net peptide content vs. HPLC purity — not the same thing, and plenty of COAs only show the peak percentage. With my walks and Sunday batch-cooking, I keep a simple “trust level” note separate from my weekly waist/energy log. Curious if anyone else bothers confirming directly with the lab, or if that’s overkill?

Tbh one angle I haven't seen mentioned: check whether the COA lists a sample receipt date separate from the analysis date. If it only has one date, or the "analysis" predates the batch, that's a red flag. I also open the PDF in a metadata viewer—screenshots and re-saved PDFs often have creation dates that cluster weirdly. Did the Prospecbio COAs you looked at include a sample receipt date, or just an analysis date? That's the thing I can never pin down on shop pages.

New angle: ignore the purity number for a sec and check whether the COA has the actual chromatogram and mass spec trace, not just a summary line. HPLC purity without identity confirmation just tells you it’s one thing, not the right thing. I also log whether it’s a lot-specific COA or a generic catalog one — if it doesn’t tie to the batch I have, it’s marketing, not QC. Does Prospecbio show raw traces per lot, or only a one-page summary?
