Okay, tiny frustration, but I need to know if it's a me problem. I keep my med stuff in a plastic shoebox on top of my dorm mini-fridge, next to a bag of lentils and a peanut butter jar that has seen things. Four vials in and every single flip cap has shredded instead of popping off clean. I end up with little metal slivers on my desk, a rubber stopper that looks chewed by a raccoon, and me hunched over it like I'm defusing a bomb. My roommate asked if I was doing a craft project. I said yes, it's called anxiety. I'm not asking for a lecture, just whether other people's caps do this or if whoever crimped these was powered by spite. Also, if anyone has a dorm-friendly way to keep the shards from migrating into my instant rice, I'm listening. Is this just normal packaging chaos, or did I get the batch where the lids woke up and chose violence?
Why do my vial caps leave metal confetti everywhere?
