I tested one variable this week and the answer was annoyingly boring

I had a small mystery this week: appetite showed up like a scheduled meeting at 3 p.m. for three days straight. Two suspects: I moved my 20-minute walk to lunchtime, or I started eating lunch at my desk while answering email. My systems brain hated the overlap.

So I split it: Tuesday walk plus desk lunch; Wednesday walk plus lunch away from the desk; Thursday no walk plus lunch away from the desk. Result: the walk did nothing to the 3 p.m. signal; the desk lunch was the whole plot.

I ate away from my keyboard Friday and the afternoon stayed quiet. Boring answer, useful map. How do you all untangle two changes that land in the same week without turning life into a lab?
