My daily weigh-ins became boring, and that’s the win

I used to treat every up day like a verdict. I’ve been at this long enough to remember a decade of restarts, and this time I did one different thing: I stopped letting a single morning write the story. I weigh every day, log it, then look only at the 7-day and 30-day lines.

Last month I had a 4-day stretch that climbed 2.6 lbs after salty soup and a late shift. The 30-day line never budged more than 0.3. That used to spiral me. Now I just note it, drink water, eat my normal breakfast, and move on.

The boring middle is where I keep learning. If you’re staring at a noisy week, what helps you zoom out to the trend instead of reacting to one number?
