What habit actually tracked with your progress data?

For what it's worth, i’m 13 months in, down 58 lb, and I keep seeing “anyone can do this” posts that skip the messy parts. The medication helped turn down food noise, but what I can actually point to is boring: a weekly weight average, a 7k-step baseline, and treating Friday takeout as one meal instead of a weekend.

That’s not a flex, and it’s not proof it’ll work for someone else. I’m trying to separate what’s reproducible from survivorship bias.

For folks further out, what’s one habit you can show in your own data—protein, steps, sleep, meal timing, something else—that actually tracked with progress? Not looking for medical advice, just your N=1 specifics.
