Came back after a long pause and my old goal looks foreign

For what it's worth, i've been lurking here since the days when this sub was mostly refill anxiety and shipping threads — I posted under a different handle then, so some of you have probably already read my old rambling. I stopped everything last fall.

No drama, just life: new job, my mom moved in, and the routine quietly fell apart. Roughly 38 of the 60 pounds came back and I'm weirdly calm about it.

Now I'm starting over and my old goal number feels like something I borrowed from someone else. Last round I just chased the scale. This time the things that keep coming to mind are concrete but small: carrying both grocery bags up the porch steps in one trip, getting off the floor without using the coffee table.

For anyone who's restarted rather than started — did you pick a new target or just keep the old one and let it mean less? Trying to figure out how specific I should make this before I start counting anything again.
