The scale is moving faster than my afternoons

Empty nest hit and I rebuilt my days around a 35-minute loop after dinner and cooking actual meals instead of grazing at the counter. I’m down 21 pounds since early spring, which I’m glad about, but my energy has its own schedule. Mornings are fine, then around 3 p.m.

I feel like someone unplugged me. I’m sleeping okay, drinking water, and trying to get protein at breakfast, so I don’t think it’s just hunger. It’s strange to like the direction of the scale and still feel so flat some days.

Did your energy lag behind the weight loss, or did it come back in pieces? I’d love to hear what small changes helped without turning it into another full-time project.
