After six months on this med, the snack drawer is the only thing in my kitchen that actually got organized. Two kids, wild after-school window, and I used to graze while packing their lunches or finishing the crusts off their plates.
Now the drawer has cheese sticks, turkey slices, grapes, and those little hummus cups.
My rule: if I want a snack, I sit at the table with it. That’s it. Sounds stupid, but those standing bites were adding up. The scale is moving slowly, but dinner cleanup feels less like a scavenger hunt.
The real result is I can pack three lunches and not eat a fourth. Anyone else use a snack drawer as a speed bump instead of a willpower test?
