Coming off wasn't a cliff, but the habits had to stay

I crossed into maintenance last spring at 182 after starting near 235. The first months on the medication were not dramatic for me: appetite quieted, but nausea showed up most mornings until I learned to slow down my fork. Constipation was the other unglamorous guest; fiber and water did more than I expected.

When my prescriber and I tapered off, I braced for a rebound. Instead, hunger came back in layers over about six weeks. The surprise was how much of the routine stayed: protein at breakfast, a walk after lunch, smaller plates without measuring every bite.

My weight has bounced in a four-pound range since, and I no longer treat every uptick as a verdict. I'm curious what other maintainers noticed in the first months off — was it appetite, habits, or something quieter that changed?
