Small confession: I've refreshed a status page more times this week than I've refilled my water bottle, and my bottle is basically surgically attached to me.
I put an order in last Tuesday. The wording at checkout gave me the impression it would move fast — fast like same afternoon.
It's day nine and the page still says pending. I'd genuinely rather wait than have something rushed, so this isn't me demanding speed.
It's the gap between how quick the language sounds and how slow the calendar actually feels that's chewing on my patience.
Meanwhile the habits that actually matter have been fine: four evening walks, protein at breakfast five days, lights out before eleven twice. None of that is waiting on anybody's queue.
For those of you who've sat through a few of these waits — do you cap yourself at one check a day, or do you mute the notifications and just let it land whenever it lands?
