I’m back at this after regaining 30 of the 70 pounds I lost a couple years ago, and I’m trying to rebuild routines without white-knuckling every detail. One thing I did not expect: my pharmacy now calls before every refill to confirm my address, payment, and that I still want the shipment.
I get the point — fewer wasted orders, fewer porch mysteries.
But I work nights, so a 10:15 a.m. call is basically my 3 a.m. I missed two calls last month and spent a whole day wondering if my order was paused. When I finally answered, the rep was quick and kind, and it felt more like a safety net than a sales pitch.
Still, I can’t decide if I want a human check-in or just a text I can reply YES to. For those of you with weird sleep schedules, do these calls help you or just add one more thing to manage?
