My plateau is probably the leftovers I stopped counting

i’ve been circling the same three-pound range for five weeks now — 187 to 189 — and my first instinct was that the medication had quit on me. But when I actually wrote down a normal Tuesday, it was ugly in a boring way: handfuls of my kid’s mac and cheese, two bites of toast while packing lunches, a spoon of peanut butter that somehow became four, and a small piece of cake at work that I mentally filed under nothing.

My appetite is still quiet, so none of it feels like a binge. It’s just unmeasured. The annoying part is that the fix is not mysterious, it’s tedious.

I’m back to weighing the boring stuff and not pretending bites don’t exist. Anyone else find their plateau was mostly a logging blind spot rather than a medication ceiling?
