28yo student here, living off a meal plan and whatever fits in a plastic drawer. Reta has mostly turned the constant snack static down, which is nice, but my cheap-protein rotation is now the main character: tuna packets, microwave eggs, Greek yogurt bought with swipes, and a peanut butter spoon I refuse to measure. I am not tracking much beyond protein and whether I can climb the library stairs without sounding like a haunted accordion. The odd thing is I still get cravings when I am bored in lecture, not when I am actually hungry. Anyone else on a campus meal plan find that the dining hall becomes way less tempting but also way more annoying? I miss having an appetite that made decisions for me, but I do not miss the late-night vending machine negotiations.
Student budget meets reta: tuna is doing heavy lifting
