Five months in tomorrow, and the number has been parked in the same two-pound range since January — 212, 213, 212.5, rinse and repeat. I log it, sigh, keep going. Hunger is manageable, portions are sane, and I tacked on 30-minute walks most evenings. The weird part is everything else is clearly improving: I can string together 12 push-ups when 6 was a struggle at the start, and my resting heart rate dropped about 4 points. So my watch and my energy disagree with the scale. I'm not changing anything drastic and I'm not chasing a shortcut. For anyone who's come out the far side of a long flat stretch — did yours eventually budge on its own, or did one small thing tip it? I'll keep showing up either way, but I'd like to hear that this part is normal.
Nine flat weeks on the scale and I'm still showing up
