Maximus Tribe's prices caught my eye, so I'm digging into them a bit before I bite. (maximustribe.com) Trying to pin down what categories and compounds they've actually got listed right now, and whether batch-specific third-party COAs are viewable before you check out. Are those COAs from an accredited lab, and do they show method, test date, lot number, identity, purity, and contaminant results? Where do they ship from, which regions and carriers, and do they say anything about transit times, customs, packaging? On the published prices — is shipping, tax, and payment fees included, or are there minimums, bulk tiers, or hidden costs? Last thing: their registered location/jurisdiction, and what they state about contact, returns, reshipment, or disputing COA claims.
Maximus Tribe checkout payment options - what gives
Has anyone received a recent COA? Specifically batch number and date? I don’t mind waiting if the paperwork matches the vials.
What’s typical shipping time to the East Coast? Discreet packaging? I’m just gathering info before considering anything.
Prices seem higher than similar vendors. Is that just branding, or do the COAs actually justify the markup?
Watching this thread. Not buying yet, but curious how recent orders and support tickets shake out.
Maximus Tribe sounds like a gladiator sequel where everyone argues about tracking numbers.
Every vendor looks great until someone posts a third-party test. Following for actual lab results, not vibes.
Do they send COAs automatically, or only if you email? Also, is there a minimum order for free shipping?
I’m here for the COA drama and shipping updates. Popcorn ready.
The popcorn is cute, but I’m stuck on the money part. OP, did you get as far as payment? I’m trying to figure out if checkout takes HSA/FSA or just credit/debit, and whether the total shown includes any consult or membership fee or those pop up later. Also, is it monthly auto-renew or one-time? I’ve lost and regained before, so I’m weirdly strict now: if canceling means a phone call or emailing support, that’s a hard no for me. Does Klarna/Affirm even show up, or is it card only?
I got as far as the payment screen last night (procrastinating a lab report, obviously). It ony showed card and Shop Pay for me—no PayPal, no Klarna/Affirm, which stings when your budget is 80% ramen and 20% delusion. Did yours show tax/shipping before you typed card info, or only on the final confirm? I bailed because I couldn’t tell if the total suddenly jumped. Also, is there a one-time vs subscription toggle before checkout, or do you have to make an
same, i got to payment then alt-tabbed to hunt COAs and forgot why i was there lol
Does checkout default to a subscription? I couldn't see cancellation terms until after entering card info, and it only showed card/Shop Pay for me, no HSA/FSA. If anyone's past that screen: was there a one-time option, or is it auto-renew only? That's the detail holding me up before I hand over card info.
Honestly, did anyone catch whether checkout takes HSA/FSA cards? That’s my personal make-or-break, mostly because I need a clean receipt for my own tracking. Between school pickup and restocking the snack drawer, I didn’t get past the cart. Also: is there a guest COA page, or do you have to create an account first? I want the lot number, lab name, method, and test date all in one PDF before I hand over a card. If it’s portal-only after purchase, I’m out.
Same, I alt-tabbed to find COAs and bought fruit snacks instead.
The thing I’d want pinned down before checkout: does the listed price include the required intake/consult, or does that get tacked on after the quiz? There was a similar thread last winter where a few folks were surprised by a separate “provider review” line. I track my monthly wellness spend in a spreadsheet, and those split charges always make the final total look higher than the menu price. If anyone makes it to the payment screen, does it show an itemized total before you enter card info?
I did the same tab hunt and ended up with a cart full of nothing plus snacks
Same, except my toddler stole the fruit snacks before I found the COA tab.
I’m usually doing this from an airport gate, so I care less about the pretty lab-doc page and more about whether checkout takes HSA/FSA cards or just regular credit. If it’s card-only and auto-renews monthly, I want to see the cancellation flow before I type anything. Did anyone get past the first screen and spot Apple Pay/Klarna? And do they text a receipt with the lot number, or is that buried in an account? I track everything in a note app while traveling, so that matters.
Did you get far enough to see whether it’s a straight card checkout or if HSA/FSA is an option
i got stuck at the card prompt debting if my hsa card would even work lol
I’d be lucky to find my HSA card before the fruit snacks disappear tbh 😂
My HSA card is buried under a pile of gym receipts, so I just gave up on that front.
I'm deep in a plateau and weirdly obsessive about lab docs right now. Did anyone actually get a batch-specific COA to load before checkout? When I poked around, I could see categories but no downloadable lot COA. If you email them, ask for the exact lot #, test date, method, and the lab's accreditation (ISO 17025 or equivalent). A generic compound COA isn't enough for me. If they won't send a real PDF pre-purchase, I'm out. Anyone gotten one without making an account first?
Not about HSA, but did you get to the payment page? I’m curious if it’s card-only or if they take PayPal/Klarna. I’ve bailed on other checkout flows that want a bank login. Also, for the COAs: are they behind an account wall, or can you click the lot number
Plateau brain makes me want COAs framed on my wall, but I still can't find my HSA card either.
Checkout showed Apple Pay and card, but I bailed before paying because I couldn’t find a batch-specific COA. The product page had a generic PDF with no lot number, test date, or lab accreditation that I could see. Maybe it’s gated behind creating an account, but I’m not doing that just to peek. If someone actually ordered, did a lot-matched COA show up later via email or in the box? That’s the piece I need before I trust the price.
Plateau brain is so real 😂 I frame COAs before I even order.
I keep a vendor tab with columns for lab, accreditation #, method, assay date, lot, and whether the COA URL resolves without login. Most places only expose lot-specific PDF
