long time lurker, first real post. I started in early January and I'm down 78 lbs as of this morning. The first seven months were almost boringly consistent — a pound or two a week, sometimes more. Then September hit and everything just stopped. Same food, same water, same four or five walks a week, still tracking everything. I've been bouncing between 212 and 214 for six weeks now. I even measured my waist twice because I swore my pants felt looser — and they are, down a notch on the belt, so something is still shifting, just not the number I care about.
I'm not quitting. I didn't come this far to walk away because the scale is being stubborn. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't stepping on it every morning with a little dread. This part is a grind.
For anyone who's been through a long stall like this: did you change something up, or did you just hold steady and wait it out? I keep flip-flopping between "trust the process" and "clearly I need to do something different."
