I’m two years past goal and generally boring about maintenance, which is how I like it. But last month I noticed my four-pound range kept kissing the top edge.
No mystery food, no missed gym streak. It was me: after dinner, before bed, I’d stand by the fridge and eat a few crackers while scrolling.
Tiny, repetitive, easy to not count. I didn’t outlaw anything. I just started closing the fridge and making tea in the other room.
About eight days later the trend eased back down. Weirdly humbling to see my own fingerprints on the drift, but also reassuring—if I built it, I can unbuild it.
Anyone else traced a maintenance wobble back to one small self-made habit?
