Why does a 20-minute walk tank my glucose reading?

I wear a CGM because I’m nosy about my own trends, and one pattern keeps confusing me. A 25-minute flat walk after lunch drops me from the low 100s into the mid-80s.

Thirty-five minutes on the bike barely bends the line. A friend says it’s just muscles pulling glucose without insulin, but she couldn’t point me to a plain-language source.

I’m not trying to treat anything, just figure out whether this is ordinary or worth bringing up at my next appointment. For those who track: does your dip depend more on timing, intensity, or whether you ate beforehand?

And if you’ve found an explanation that doesn’t require a physiology degree, I’d like to read it.
