Didn't plan a milestone post. I just crossed 371 days of continuous logging and exported the file.
n=1 summary: 14 kg down. The more useful part is what actually tracked. I kept seven fields.
Two of them — protein grams (target around 140) and bedtime consistency, call it plus or minus 30 minutes — line up with the weekly trend. Step count, hydration, mood: noise.
Appetite suppression was real but too variable to use as a progress metric, so I dropped it from the dashboard around month five.
Keeping: daily weights, weekly averages, logging the boring fields even when nothing changes.
Dropping: reacting to a single morning reading after bad sleep.
Last 5 kg are slower than the first 15. Fine. Rate isn't the point; direction is.
Curious whether anyone else's own data has embarrassed their assumptions the way mine did.
