I'm cold at seventy-two degrees in July

I hit my goal range last spring and have stayed within three pounds since. The strange part isn't the scale; it's that I now keep a heating pad on my desk in July while my coworkers argue about the AC. Down 58 pounds over about 16 months, and my internal thermostat clearly got recalibrated somewhere along the way.

At 72 degrees my fingers go stiff, my nose is cold, and tea stops being warm the second I pour it. It's not misery, just a new baseline I didn't expect in maintenance. I'm eating regular meals, lifting twice a week, sleeping okay.

I'm curious whether this is one of those things that evens out over a year or just becomes part of the maintenance job. Anyone else running a personal temperature about ten degrees lower than the room?
