I didn't notice a big surge of willpower. What I noticed was that my grocery list got shorter and less panicky.
Last Saturday I bought one box of strawberries instead of two, and they actually lasted until Wednesday. I've been jotting down a 1–10 appetite note before dinner for about six weeks, mostly because I wanted to understand my own patterns without turning it into a spreadsheet.
The number has been drifting lower, but the more useful part is how little mental bargaining happens now. I can put half a cookie back without a 10-minute debate.
It's a small thing, and I'm trying not to over-interpret it. For anyone else who tracks body signals: do you note hunger before meals, or only when something feels off?
I'd love to hear what's felt reliable for you.
