Can a GLP-1 teach me what enough actually feels like?

I’m 67, lift four mornings a week, keep protein around 130g, and guard sleep like it’s a second job. I’ve done recomp phases and I’m not looking for a magic shot.

But the thing I keep bumping into is portion intuition: I can weigh food, log it, hit macros, and still not register fullness until I’ve eaten past where I wanted to stop.

It’s not chaos or bingeing, just a delayed signal. I watch people describe GLP-1s as quieting food noise, and I wonder if that’s the missing piece or just a different kind of training wheel. Did anyone here use it to relearn what 'enough' feels like, then keep that skill when the appetite effect faded?

Or did it just make the decision for you while you were on it? I’m skeptical but curious, especially from other lifters who care about holding muscle.
